There is hope that
God takes care of his own people, and all who trust in him in earnest.
Even if we die in
time, we have the hope of resurrection and eternal life without pain and
illness and no current temporal worries.
God lets his sun
shine and rain on both the wicked and the righteous.
God, Jesus, and
the Holy Ghost give living hope, faith, and love to all who desire to receive
the gift of salvation according to God’s ordinance.
Jesus ’own
disciples, even today, offer the gift of forgiveness of sins by the power of
the gospel by the authority of God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. The gift can only
be received by accepting and preserving it, faith, and a good conscience until
the end of temporal life.

1. Cor. 9:10 Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For

in hope should be partaker of his hope.
1. Cor. 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is

or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord
Jesus Christ at his coming?
1. Thess. 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren,
concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have
no hope.
1. Thess. 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on
the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
2. Thess. 2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our
Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good
hope through grace,
1. Tim. 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of
God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;
Tit. 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour
Jesus Christ;
Tit. 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made
heirs according to the hope of
eternal life.
Hebr. 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house
are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

diligence to the full assurance of hope
unto the end:
Hebr. 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was
impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled
for refuge to lay hold upon the hope
set before us:
Hebr. 6:19 Which hope
we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth
into that within the veil;
Hebr. 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in
of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
1. Pet. 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a
lively hope by the resurrection of
Jesus Christ from the dead,
1. Pet. 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober,
and hope to the end for the grace
that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
1. Pet. 1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from
the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
1. Pet. 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready
always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and
fear:
1 Behold, what manner
of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of
God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we
the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that,
when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that
hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
4 Whosoever committeth
sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5 And ye know that he
was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6 Whosoever abideth in
him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7 Little children, let
no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is
righteous.
8 He that committeth
sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose
the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is born of
God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God.
10 In this the children
of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not
righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
11 For this is the
message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12 Not as Cain, who was
of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because
his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13 Marvel not, my
brethren, if the world hate you.
14 We know that we have
passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not
his brother abideth in death.
15 Whosoever hateth his
brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding
in him.
16 Hereby perceive we
the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down
our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoso hath this
world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of
compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 My little children,
let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
19 And hereby we know
that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
20 For if our heart
condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
21 Beloved, if our
heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
22 And whatsoever we
ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things
that are pleasing in his sight.
23 And this is his
commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and
love one another, as he gave us commandment.
24 And he that keepeth
his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he
abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
